Since Novokliniken was founded, our patients' safety and well-being have been in focus. Therefore, we are pleased that the Riksdag has decided on a change in the law that ensures safe care for patients.

Since July 1, the law for aesthetic injections and surgery has been in effect. Previously, the market lacked regulation, while the industry grew significantly. This left consumers with virtually no protection, even though the procedures can cause serious injuries if performed incorrectly.

The new law ensures that thread lifts, fillers, and Botox injections may only be performed by licensed nurses, dentists, and doctors.

Even before this change in the law came into force, Novokliniken has performed beauty injections by a doctor, surgeon, or licensed nurse.
