About the treatment
The area around the eyes is often the first part of the face where signs of aging become visible. Over time, the eyebrows may droop, the skin on the upper eyelids can become heavier, and the area under the eyes may lose both elasticity and volume. At the same time, changes in the forehead and temples can affect the entire expression of the face.
Total Eye Lift combines several surgical treatments that together improve the area around the eyes, including an eyebrow lift via an endoscopic approach, upper and lower eyelid surgery, and fat grafting around the eyes.
By treating multiple structures simultaneously, a more harmonious and balanced result can be achieved than if each area were treated separately.
Eyebrow lift via endoscopic approach
A central part of the Total Eye Lift is an eyebrow lift via an endoscopic approach, where the position of the forehead and eyebrows can be restored. The procedure is performed through small incisions in the scalp, giving the surgeon direct access to the tissues of the forehead and temples and allowing for a safe and precise mobilization of the tissues.
Once the tissues have been released, they can be repositioned upwards to a more youthful and natural position. This helps to lift the eyebrows, soften the contour of the forehead, and open up the area around the eyes. The incisions are placed in the scalp, which usually makes the scars discreet and hidden in the hair.
Upper and lower blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) is one of the most established treatments in aesthetic facial surgery.
Upper blepharoplasty treats excess skin and heaviness in the upper eyelid, which can make the gaze look more open and alert.
Lower blepharoplasty can treat bags, excess skin, and changes in the area under the eyes.
When these procedures are combined with an eyebrow lift, a more complete and balanced result can be achieved in the eye area.
Fat grafting around the eyes
Over the years, the face can lose volume, especially around the eyes. This can contribute to the skin appearing thinner and to the appearance of hollows or shadows.
In fat grafting, the patient's own fat tissue is used to restore volume and improve skin quality.
The fat is harvested from another area of the body, purified, and then injected into carefully selected areas around the eyes.
This can contribute to a softer transition between the eyelid, cheek, and temple.
