Kátia Gomes full member of the Swedish Association of Plastic Surgeons

Novokliniken's specialist in plastic surgery Kátia Gomes is now a full member of the Swedish Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SFEP). Membership means extra peace of mind for patients as the specialists in the association are continuously trained and reviewed.
During the month of October, Kátia Gomes is awarded full membership in the Swedish Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SFEP). The association requires that the applying specialist is a trained plastic surgeon, has five years of service, and has personal experience and knowledge of various aesthetic procedures. After that, the specialist needs to be a member for five years, practice their profession full-time, and receive recommendations from other specialists before full membership is awarded.
The Swedish Association for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (SFEP) was founded in 1983 and ensures that specialists practice their profession in an ethical and safe manner. Since aesthetic plastic surgery falls outside the public healthcare reimbursement model and patients therefore pay for the surgery and care themselves, the association exists as a security for patients.
Kátia Gomes is already a full member of the Brazilian Association Brazilian Plastic Surgery Society (SBCP).
